Snehdhara Oil is a cooking oil production company specializing in cold-pressed oils made from organic peanuts, sesame, and mustard seeds. Their mission is to deliver pure, chemical-free cooking oil directly to consumers, maintaining traditional extraction methods that preserve nutrition and flavor.

The client wanted a modern digital presence that would both market their brand and sell products online directly to customers.

Snehdhara approached Zikasha with the goal of building a website that could:

  • Promote the brand and educate customers about cold-pressed oils
  • Sell products directly from the website
  • Support Cash on Delivery (COD) as the only payment method
  • Restrict orders to specific delivery pin codes
  • Provide a simple and frictionless checkout process
  • Allow the business owner to easily manage products and orders

Client specifically required a WhatsApp-based order notification system to streamline communication and order processing. Also client wanted to avoid third-party paid platforms, ensuring that the system remained cost-efficient and fully under their control.

When an order is placed:

  • The store owner should receive a WhatsApp message containing the complete order details so they can immediately begin processing the delivery.
  • The customer should receive a WhatsApp confirmation message confirming that the order has been successfully received along with the estimated delivery date.

This requirement was important because the client primarily manages operations through WhatsApp communication rather than email

After understanding the client’s business model, expectations, and operational workflow, we proposed building a Marketing + E-Commerce platform using WordPress and Custom plugin development.

This approach allowed us to deliver:

Standard WooCommerce checkout was too complex and collected unnecessary information, so we developed a custom plugin to create a simplified checkout process optimized for Cash on Delivery orders.

Pin Code Delivery Restriction

  • Orders are only allowed from selected serviceable pin codes
  • Admin can enable or disable delivery areas
  • Customers are notified early if delivery is not available at their location

Minimal Checkout Form

The checkout form only asks for information required to deliver the order:

Early Delivery Validation

To improve user experience and increase average order value:
